國際合作研究計畫

● Instructional Leadership in East Asia: A Cross-Cultural Collaborative Research Study (7 societies: Hong Kong, Mainland China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, and Thailand), 2012-2017

為Philip Hallinger與Allan Walker發起之「東亞教學領導：跨文化協同研究計畫」（Instructional Leadership in East Asia: A Cross-Cultural Collaborative Research Study）中之一項計畫，擔任臺灣地區研究之召集人。參與之國家或地區共有七個，除臺灣外，尚有香港、中國大陸、泰國、馬來西亞、新加坡、越南（2012-2016）。研究成果陸續發表於〈Journal of Educational Administration〉期刊中。

● A Comparative Study of Organizational Learning in Schools in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Canada, and Australia, 2000-2002

為香港中文大學教育行政與政策學系主任林怡禮教授（Jack Lam）主持之香港、臺灣、加拿大、澳洲中小學組織學習跨國研究，擔任臺灣地區研究之召集人（2000-2002）。重點在分析學校外部因素與內部因素如何影響學校中的組織學習。部分成果發表於〈The International Journal of Educational Management〉期刊中。

● International School Effectiveness Research Project, 1992-1997

參與國際學校效能研究計畫（International School Effectiveness Research Project, ISERP）（1992-2000）。參與的國家/地區，除我國外，尚有美國、荷蘭、英國、挪威、加拿大、澳洲、香港等。此研究突破過去學校效能研究之缺失，採多層次（鉅觀、學校、教室層次）、多因素方式探析學校效能。研究結果有助於吾人瞭解在不同文化情境下，有哪些因素會影響學校的效能。另本計畫對於學校效能研究方法論的進展亦有甚大之助益，因為在研究成果變項的測量、研究變項的選取、研究模式等均有更周延的考量。本計畫整體成果已由Routledge出版社於2002年出書《World Class Schools》，至於我國部分之研究成果，則於1993年、1997、1998年撰寫相關報告並發表於期刊。

● A Comparative Study of Scientific Development and Higher Education in Newly Industrializing Nations, 1988-1989

參與由美國科學基會金補助P. G. Altbach主持之新興工業化國家：臺灣、新加坡、韓國、馬來西亞四國教育與科學研究環境之國際性研究（1987～1988），負責臺灣部分，研究成果出書以Scientific Development and Higher Education: The Case of Newly Industrializing Nations一書出版。

● 擔任學校效能與改進國際會議（International Congress of School Effectiveness and Improvement, ICSEI）2004年度理事，籌備2004年ICSEI年會。
