Intellectual disabilities are conditions that affect an individual's intellectual functioning and their ability to function and adapt. This can include inability to engage in meaningful occupations functionally and successfully (Morin, 2023).
Developmental disabilities are broader terms for a range of conditions that involve some type of impairment. This can be physical, cognition, language, and behavior (Morin, 2023).
