There are three types of ADHD: predominant inattentive (ADHD-I), predominantly hyperactivity-impulsive (ADHD-HI), and combined types (ADHD-C). ADHS-I involves inattention, procrastination, hesitation, and forgetfulness. ADHD-HI involves challenges with attending, excessive activity, and troubles managing behaviors. ADHD-C involves hyperactivity, inattentiveness, and impulsivity. Between all of the types, there is poor sustained attention and hyperactivity-impulsivity (Morin, 2023).
