The Lesser Desertwyrm is a low tier lindwyrm. They are the only dragon you can cook alive in the mod.

Lesser Desertwyrms are neutral dragons that will bite down on anything the size of a chicken or smaller. They will stay stationary in their patch of earth claiming it as theirs until they are uprooted by something, which will cause them to panic by fleeing across the ground before submerging themselves in the ground again.

Hiding in the ground they are very easy to spot as they leave their heads poking out of the ground to catch food. When pulled out one will see a long thick body with atrophied wings that serve nothing more then being a remnent of the past.

Taming

"You know, these guys are kind of cute. It's such a shame that no matter how much you feed them they will never bond with you. Is it possible that they just don't have the key instincts needed to form such a bond?"- J.E

Dragons such as these can not be tamed. No matter how much you want their power.

Breeding

You do not breed these dragons, more and more will appear over time if you stay in the general area.

Use

Lesser desertwyrms will bite down on anything small that moves on them, which means that the fishing rod is a good way of fishing them out of the sand.

Once fished out of the sand it is best to cook them while fresh by sticking them in a furnace or anywhere else you cook your food.
