He is sometimes identified as the teacher to Parmenides.
God would be one eternal being, spherical in form, comprehending all things within himself. He is the absolute mind and thought. He bears no resemblance to human nature in body or mind.
He held that there did actually exist a truth and reality. Humans, as mortals, were unable to know it.
