Advance Architecture Construction

From this 14 weeks time I learned a lot from my tutor, Ar. Edwin and also from my Lecturer  Dr. Jan-Frederik Flor. Throughout the project, my tutor Ar. Edwin inspires me a lot by explaining to us how real life construction works so I can look at my design more critically. I really enjoy the learning method which I get to explore wildly and dramatic as I want in terms of construction and my tutor will point out certain things that I miss looked in my design. Lastly I also like to thank for having bunch of awesome friends and course mate that encourage me a lot throughout the journey which really help me a lot brushing up my design as well not giving up myself.

The first project was slightly heavy and technical than we are capable of as we are still new to this module hence we struggle to complete the report which consist of all sorts of detail drawing and construction drawings. But the learning process is fun as we really dive in to study the construction and joinery of each components before documenting them. The Second project is to find the construction solution for our studio design which is a learning center. I find it very interesting throughout the weeks looking for precedents studies to support my structure design and slowly improve them with the help of my tutor which is very helpful as he is capable of telling certain dimensions and span that are not found online. He is also very kind helping us out as our studio lecturer is pushing our creativity to the extend that we might not fully know how to built it. But overall this project does help me a lot improving my understanding regarding construction.

Overall this had been a really amazing semester and I am really enjoyed with I have gone through and learned throughout this 14 weeks time.
