Week 1:Introduction to Digital Photography and Imaging

I love this image because of its strong and simple color contrast between pink with dark gray and central placement of character emphasizing the focus of this image. The detail mechanical helmet attracts me a lot as it give the strong historic sense of samurai and cyberpunk mechanical style. The additional details such as the sword and badges also enhanced the look and richness of the character making viewer curious with the story behind this character. 

Besides this is one of my favorite anime, the layout placement of this image is also balance out with main character in the center and bottom right, leaving the words surrounding the left side and top of the image. The strong red and yellow color of the machine and character is also highlighting them from the light color backgroung making the theme of this image easily being focus on. Last but not least, the strong shadow effect matched with the red and yellow is also very attractive to me reminding me the realistic metallic look while retaining some manga look.

This image may look over colored compare to previous images but I love this image because of the details within the image. The layout of this image is also really interesting, which uses a strong visual hierarchy effect. with nearer building looks bigger and you can even see the interior of certain building will the further building is looking more small but both linked together by similar building style and brilliant red lantern. The red color spreading over the image not just enhance the visual and also leads the me from the nearer human character to further building palace providing a strong crowded ambience as if this is a massive and overpopulated city that are celebrating a festival.
