Week 2:introduction to composition

LECTURE:

This week we are introduced to techniques for composing photos and collages in order to prepare us for our project 1 physical collage.

TUTORIAL/ PRACTICAL

During the tutorial we had a chance to compose our own physical collage and play around with the composition techniques that we have learned earlier in the lecture class. We are able to try out the compositions with some magazines cut outs that we bring and explore them in the photography studio.

COMPOSITION 1

The composition focus mainly on the blue color scheme while uses white color as the main highlight in the collage.

COMPOSITION 2

The composition uses the eye of the statue as the focal point and direct the reader's view to the text as well as the church photo in the center circle of collage.

COMPOSITION 3

The collage uses the harmony scenery as well as Malaysia's flag to be a sense of peacefulness. The focal point of the male in the image is used to lead the reader towards the title of this collage
