Elizabeth Dobinson 1837
Elizabeth was the daughter of Lancelot Dobinson 1816- and Sarah ? 1816. In the 1851 census and subsequently, Elizabeth was recorded as being born in Howden. This presumably was the Howden Pans (referring to old salt pans) at North Shields, because the 1841 census records her as being born in Northumberland, not Yorkshire, where there is another Howden.
Elizabeth is recorded in the 1841 census for Chirton, Northumberland, in Front Street, with three children in the following household -
Lancelot Dobinson 25, Draper
Elizabeth Dobinson 4
Mary Dobison 15, Female Servant (FS), note the different name, so Mary is presumably not one of the family
Elizabeth is recorded in the 1851 census for Chirton, Northumberland, with two more children in Collingwood Street, in the following household -
Lancelot Dobinson 37, Assistant Draper, born in Percy Main
Sarah Dobinson 37, born in Percy Main
Elizabeth Dobinson 14, born in Howden
John M Dobinson 12, Scholar, born in Howden
Margaret Dobinson 9, Scholar, born in Howden
Sarah Dobinson 6, Scholar, born in Howden
Thomas Dobinson 1, born in North Shields
Elizabeth is recorded in the 1861 census for Chirton, Northumberland, now in Pit Row and with another child, in the following household -
Lancelot Dobinson 47, Draper, born in Percy Main
Sarah Dobinson 47, born in Percy Main
Elizabeth Dobinson 24, born in Howden
John M Dobinson 22, Draper, born in Howden
Margaret Dobinson 19, born in Howden
Sarah Dobinson 16, born in Howden
Thomas Dobinson 10, Scholar, born in North Shields
Mary Jane Dobinson 6, Scholar, born in North Shields
Elizabeth married George Jackson in June 1863 at Tynemouth (Free BMD).

Thomas Jackson 15, Clerk, Stuff Merchant, born in Yorks, Manningham
Sarah Jackson 13, Factory Hand, Worsted, born in Yorks, Manningham
Mary Isabella Jackson 10, Scholar, born in Yorks, Manningham
For the 1901 census, her husband had retired, and they were at 4 Sunderland Rd Bradford.
George Jackson 68, Retired Woollen Draper's Assistant
Elizabeth Jackson 62, born in Howden
George E Jackson 28, Worsted Warehouseman, born in Bradford
Lancelot D Jackson
In the same household there were two sons, George E Jackson 1873 (Worsted Warehouseman) Lancelot Jackson 1877 (Plumber) and two daughters Alice Jackson 1879 (Own account Milliner) and Edith E. Jackson 1875 (own acount dressmaker at home). Visiting the household was Mary J Dobinson 1856. She was presumably Elizabeth's younger sister, recorded as Mary Jane Dobinson in the 1861 census.
George and Elizabeth had the following children -
Thomas Jackson 1866 in Bradford
Sarah E Jackson 1868 in Bradford
Mary Isabella Jackson 1870 in Bradford
