Isaac married Harriet Hawley in 1837 at Netherfield Chapel and around 1860 was a founder member of the Stocksbridge Band of Hope Co-operative Society (info from Susan Tracey).
They are recorded in the 1861 census as living at Hunshelf Bottom. The 1871 census they were at Nook End, Ecclesfield, close to Sheffield. 1881 census shows him as being & living with his wife Harriet Hawley (b 1837 Bolsterstone) in Thurlstone, occupation Wire Drawer. The same census shows 10 children -
