The Frank Scurrah killed in the 1914-18 war on 17 April 1918 near Pernes was not him, his parents were Charles and Charlotte Scurrah, of Skelton.
The only death of a Frank Scurrah for all counties in the UK 1901-1970 is for 1928, which looks convincing as it is for W. Yorks.
