John Patterson 1821

Appears to have been the fraternal twin of Martha Patterson 1821.

One possibility is that he married Kate(Catherine) ? Lavin b1843 in Sunderland in 1860. If this is right, the following children appear in the 1871 census as living in Yorkshire-

• Sarah A Patterson 1864
• Austen Patterson 1868
• Charley Patterson 1870

This line is not well documented. Other possibilities are that he married a Hannah Fothergill OR Mary Ann Dean at Bradford in 1862 (BMD).
