Toroa "cuts a dash' at the Rotoiti Classic Boat Show March 2018

Russell and Jocelyn kept our flag flying at the classic boat show, taking Toroa to the 2018 event, and reported the usual significant interest in the boat and its origins and construction. We were all delighted when at the prize giving Toroa received the annual trophy for best wooden rowboat in show. The boat has weathered well over the first two years and retained its good looks, and we are pleased that we opted to retain as much varnished natural wood on the interior as it certainly sets the looks of the boat off while revealing all the construction detail. Well Done Toroa !!!
