We took Toroa on its first totally public outing at the Annual Classic Boat S,how held at Lake Rotoiti every year. With crew Jocelyn , Russell , Denis and Sue and cox David, we decided to enter in two of the organised rowing races on the programme. The first race was for faster craft and we did quite well to achieve a second p[acing,  and then immediately turned around to race again in the recreational class, this time coming third. Obviously the effort of the first race taking its toll !  (Well that's our story anyway -  Age, Beauty and Talent are difficult attributes to manage perfectly all the time ! )  A fantastic venue and event as always with Toroa creating a lot of interest amongst fellow "Traditional Boaties."
