Keen to try a Lake row and met group at Lake Rotoiti . Idylic weather calm but quite crisp temperature wise with a smattering of snow on the tops. David joined us from Dunedin and demonstrated that the boat appeals to the young brigade as well, Also Rs friend Chris was introduced to the boat and is a convert too. . A great day out and cemented the idea when time permits that we do the Two day SAS two lakes challenge which will constitute rowing to the end of each lake and staying the night in the respective lake head huts obviously taking all the 'home comforts" as the boat has plenty of stowage. Crew consisted of David, Jocelyn Russell, Chris, Sue and Denis. The boat created a lot of interest from lakeside observers.
