Yes, you guessed it, more great rowing weather. Unbelievably settled weather again and the biggest problem getting launched was paying the trailer park fees at Nelson Marina. (Will try coins next time !..be warned if you are using this machine !) WE are starting to feel very comfortable rowing the boat and have been quite surprised at how well we cover the distance. The boat speed is exceptional for this type of craft. Nice to get a close up look at the lighthouse again and tick that off the list as well as rowing through 'The Cut" ( harbour entrance) of the boulder bank and heading toward more open water. In a reasonable chop and and swell the boat performs well. Hung a left, and rowed past Fifeshire Rock and had the cuppa on the lee of the island . Always time for a cup of tea! Another pleasant outing with good company and dare I say some passable rowing. Crew today Peter T, Peter L, Jocelyn, Russell and Denis.
