The "standard crew" of Jocelyn ,Russell , Denis, Sue and David got together for a school break row. We left Marahau mid morning in a light tail breeze and cruised down to Adele Island via some of the beaches of Abel Tasman National Park. We were pleasantly surprised again how well Toroa handled in coastal waters and conditions ,and how quickly we seemed to cover significant distances with only mild apparent effort. We checked out Fishermans Island on the way back and were genuinely amazed over the beautiful uninhabited beaches and coves which seem so accessible by row boat yet so close to a world renown tourist destination like Abel Tasman National park. We still have a "penciled in" intention to row the entire Park coastline some day soon when work doesn't get in the way of some of the crews leisure time. Rock on retirement. Work Less Row More !
