[cr.1878], married amongst others (a), 1863, a daughter of Maharaja Takhat Singhji of Jodhpur. He died spm on 17th September 1880.

[cr.1888] , G.C.I.E. [cr.1900] , G.C.V.O. [cr.1903], made an Honourary Colonel of the 13th Rajputs (Shekhawati Regiment), married to five official wives (and 18 concubines who gave him 50 to 60 children, 107 according to a different source, of whom 18 sons were alive in 1935 and one son was still alive in 1985), 1stly, the daughter of Thakur Budh Singh Pal of Amargarh in Etah-Karauli, married 2ndly, 1881, the 3rd daughter of Maharaja Prithvi Singhji of Kishangarh, died 25th March 1893, married 3rdly, 1882, HH Maharani Ba Kunwarba Sahiba, died after 1922, daughter of HH Raj Sahib Mansinhji II Ranmalsinhji of Dhrangadhra, and his third wife, HH Rani Baiji Kunwarba Sahiba, married 4thly, 1891, daughter of the Thakur of Khamor in Shahpura, married 5thly, 1892, the daughter of Thakur Jivraj Singh of Rori in Bikaner, by whom he had one daughter. Thakur Shuja Singh of Nimbera (by Rani Mertaniji), he became embittered because he had been denied the throne when his father died as he was too young; he formed an alliance with Mirza Muhammad Sharifuddin Hussain, the Mughal Governor of Mewat and a brother-in-law of Emperor Akbar, and encouraged by Suja Singh, the Mughal Governor led a campaign against the Kachhwaha rajputs, and in 1563, Sharifuddin was bought off with a number of hostages being provided, including Rajkumar Jagannath Singh, Raja Raj Singh and Rao Khangar along with others; married and had issue. He was assassinated at Dausa after 1564.

Mirza Raja BHAO SINGH Bahadur, 1th Raja of Amber 1614/1621, he succeeded his father to the gadi of Amber on 7th July 1614 (Asarh Sudi 11th, VS 1671), he died spm of alcoholic poisoning at Burhanpur on 27th November 1621 or 13th December 1621 (Paus Sudi 10th, VS 1678)(#2) or (Phagun Sudi 4th, VS 1678)(#4).
Maharani Suraj De, married (as his 10th wife), in October 1622 (Kati Sudi 12th, VS 1679) at Amber, Maharaja Gaj Singhji I, Maharaja of Jodhpur. She committed sati in May 1638.
Mirza Raja JAI SINGH I Bahadur, 16th Raja of Amber 1621/1667, born 15th July 1611, he succeeded his great uncle to the gadi of Amber on 4th February 1622 (Phalgun Sudi 4th, VS 1678); Mirza Raja [cr.1639], married and had issue. He was either poisoned to death by his second son or died as a result of a fall from an elephant on 28th August 1667 (Asoj Badi 5th, VS 1724) in Burhanpur.
Mirza Raja Ram Singh I Bahadur (qv)
Raja Kirat Singh, he poisoned his father at the instigation of Padshah Aurangzeb, with the promise of the Amber gadi, but instead was overlooked in the succession and was granted the jagir of Kama and the title of Raja; in punishment, his descendants were deprived of all succession rights to the gadi of Jaipur; married and had issue. He died 1673.

Mirza Raja RAM SINGH I Bahadur, 17th Raja of Amber 1667/1688, he served for some years in Assam and Kabul; married and had issue. He died on 10th April 1688 (Asoj Badi 5th, VS 1746) at Kohat.
Yuvaraj Kishan Singh, he built a Tank and the Kishan Bagh at Jaisala and the Gharbi Khund in the Jaigarh Fort; married and had issue. He was killed in a brawl at the Mughal Emperor's Court in the Deccan in March 1682 (Phagun Sudi 7th, VS 1739) or on 10th April 1682 (#3).

Mirza Raja BISHAN SINGH Bahadur, 18th Raja of Amber 1688/1699, born 26th May 1671 (Jyestha Badi 13th, VS 1728), married (amongst others), Rani Indar Kanwar, daughter of Thakur Kesho Das Jodha of Kharwa, and had issue. He died at Darband in Kabul on 31st December 1699 or 10th January 1700 (Magh Badi 5th, VS 1756).

He died 21st September 1743 (Asoj Sudi 14th, VS 1800) at Jaipur.
Maharajkumar Shiv Singh (by Maharani Gauriji), born 1702, Faujdar of Mathura; he was appointed deputy Governor of Agra; married Rani Bagheliji of Rewah, and had issue, three sons. He died of cholera in August 1724 at Mathura along with his mother, though some say he and his mother were poisoned to death.

He died by his own hand of poisoning spm on 25th December 1750, along with three Queens and a paswanji. A further 21 other wives and concubines committed sati on the next day.

He died 4th March 1768.

Sri Sawai Maharaja JAI SINGH III Bahadur, 7th Maharaja of Jaipur 1819/1835, born 25th April 1819, married (amongst others) (a), 1829, Maharani Ratan Kunwar, eldest daughter of Maharao Shri Sheo Singhji of Sirohi, and his wife, Maharani Chandrawatiji of Sankotra, married (b), Maharani Chandrawatiji, died 1858, and had issue. He was poisoned to death by Jhuntharam Musahib-Ala on 6th February 1835.

Sri Sawai Maharaja Sir RAM SINGH II Bahadur G.C.S.I., C.I.E., 8th Maharaja of Jaipur 1835/1880, born 28th September 1833 (Bhadwa Sudi 14th, VS 1891), he came of age in 1851 and was then granted ruling powers; he was granted a sanad of adoption in 1862, a Counsellor of the Empire and Member of the Legislative Council of India 1869/1873; he was made a G.C.S.I. on 11th November 1863 and C.I.E. on 1st January 1878; he received a personal gun salute of 19, which was raised further to 21 guns at the Delhi Durbar in 1877, married nine Maharanis, including (a), a daughter of Maharaja Vishwanath Singh Bahadur, Maharaja of Rewah, married (b), 1863, a daughter of Maharaja Takhat Singhji of Jodhpur. He died spm on 19th September 1880 (Bhadwa Sudi 14th, VS 1937).
Maj.-Gen. HH Saramand-i-Rajha-i-Hindustan Raj Rajendra Sri Maharajadhiraja Sawai Sir MADHO SINGH II Bahadur G.S.I., G.C.I.E., G.C.V.O., LL.D. (Edin), 9th Maharaja Saheb of Jaipur 1880/1922, born as Kunwar Qayam or Kaim Singh, younger son of the Thakur Sahib of Isarda on 27th August 1861, his personal gun salute was raised to 19 in 1887, and further increased to 21 in 1896, G.C.S.I. [cr.1888] , G.C.I.E. [cr.1900] , G.C.V.O. [cr.1903], made an Honourary Colonel of the 13th Rajputs (Shekhawati Regiment), married to five official wives (and 18 concubines who gave him 50 to 60 children, 107 according to a different source, of whom 18 sons were alive in 1935 and one son was still alive in 1985), 1stly, the daughter of Thakur Budh Singh Pal of Amargarh in Etah-Karauli, married 2ndly, 1881, the 3rd daughter of Maharaja Prithvi Singhji of Kishangarh, died 25th March 1893, married 3rdly, 1882, HH Maharani Ba Kunwarba Sahiba, died after 1922, daughter of HH Raj Sahib Mansinhji II Ranmalsinhji of Dhrangadhra, and his third wife, HH Rani Baiji Kunwarba Sahiba, married 4thly, 1891, daughter of the Thakur of Khamor in Shahpura, married 5thly, 1892, the daughter of Thakur Jivraj Singh of Rori in Bikaner, by whom he had one daughter. Para Brigade in 1963, selected and posted as Adjutant, Indian Military Academy, Dehradun 1964/1967, volunteered for the new Para Commando Unit and was posted to 10 Para Commando as 2nd-in-command in June 1967, became the commanding officer in the following year, awarded the second highest gallantry award "Maha Vir Chakra" in 1971, for his part in the Indo-Pak war, took voluntary retirement in 1974, he was granted the rank of Brigadier for life, served as the first Resident High Commissioner to the State of Brunei from July 1993 to January 1997; he was also a noted polo player in his youth; married 10th March 1967, HH Maharani Saheba Padmini Devi, daughter of Lt. HH Maharaja Rajendra Prakash Bahadur of Sirmur, and his second wife, HH Maharani Indira Devi, and had issue. He died 17th April 2011 in Gurgaon of multi-organ failure.
