Rajkumar Surjan Singh Sahib, born 1829, he was an associate of the State Council during his nephew's minority. He sent troops from Sirmur to protect the British civilians during the Mutiny of 1857 and was granted a "Khillat" or Robe of Honour by the British for services rendered to the Crown, married and had issue, as well as further issue by informal liaisons. He died 1891.

HH Raja SURENDRA BIKRAM PRAKASH 1898/1911, born 14th November 1867, and succeeded to the throne in 1898, created K.C.S.I. on 9th November 1901, married 1883, a daughter of the Raja RUDAR SEN of Suket, and had issue, four children, as well as a son by a secondary wife. He died 25th July 1911 at Mussoorie.

He died 18th January 1981 in Dehra Dun, Uttaranchal.
