Gajapathi Raja RAMACHENDRA DEVA I, Raja of Khurda 1578 or 1592/1607 or 1587/1616, son of Danai Bidyadhar, Prime Minister of the Bhoj King; appointed mansubadar of 3,500 horse by the Mughal Emperor Akbar, he was granted Khurda, Puri and others in jagir and the right to rule over 129 killas of Orissa; married and had issue. He died 1607.

Raja BIRAKISHORE DEVA I, Raja of Khurda bef 1751/1780 or 1736/1773, during his reign, Habib Khan, a Muslim General in the service of the Marathas, invaded this province but restored it afterwards, the Marathas finally took the province in 1753; married and had issue. He died 1780.

Raja DIBYASINGHA DEVA II, Raja of Khurda 1780/1795 or 1773/1791, married and had issue. He died 1795.
Raja Mukunda Deva II (qv)
Raja MUKUNDA DEVA II, Raja of Khurda 1795/1808 or 1791/1810, in 1803, the British occupied Orissa and expelled the Marathas; later he rebelled against the British Authorities in 1804 and his territory was confiscated, he received a pension in compensation, he rebelled again in 1817 and was imprisoned, he was the last king of Khurda and after him his successor came to be known as the Raja of Puri, the title of Raja being only personal and he depended on a political pension. He died 30th November 1817.
