6. The date of King Raisal's death is uncertain and the Kingdom was under management of his Minister Mathura Das Bengali, when it was initially usurped by Madhodas Ladkhani. As per Khandela Thikana records, Girdhar (youngest son of Raisal) was made the ruler of Khandela in 1614 (immediately after the death of Raisal) which is doubtful, due to uncertainty of the date of demise of Raisal, and Thakur Girdhar's low mansab of 800/800 (1615-1620), 1000/800 (1621) and finally 2000/1500 & title of Raja granted only in 1622, just one year before his death (that is when he was actually recognized as the ruler, as Khandela always had a Raja, never a Thakur, that Girdhar was from 1615 to 1622). Moreover, other elder sons of Raisal, like Raja Bhojraj became ruler of their principality around 1621. Secondly, Hariram’s mother was a princess of Khandela and as per Thikana Mundari, Khandela was usurped by ousting the Majis (widow queens) by treachery. Lastly, the marriage of Hariram’s daughter to Prince Bharmal of Kishangarh took place at the Khandela fort as per infra note 7 in pp. 545-551.
