PREDECESSORS AND SHORT HISTORY: Ancestor of the clan was Rao Bida, uterine brother of Rao Bika of Bikaner, youngest son of Rao Jodha of Jodhpur 1438/1488, and his patrani, Parmar Rani Naurangde Sankhali, daughter of Rana Napa Sankhla, ruler of Janglu. The Bidawat clan has at least 18 sub clans. Bidasar and the other Bida Kothris which comprise around 140 families in total had a total revenue of 50,000 Rs and Retainers 10000 Foot and 2000 Horse as in 1901. Many Nobles had the status of Tazimi Sardar in the Darbar and all had the title of Thakur. Rulers and estate holders were....
Rao BIDA, Rao of Chapar-Dronpur (Bidayat), born 1442 (Magh Shukla Navami BS 1499), he accompanied his brother, Rao Bika, and helped him establish his own kingdom of Bikaner; and himself established Bidayat state (that Rao Jodha had briefly granted to his son Joga by defeating Rana Bairisal Mohil Chauhan of Chapar-Draunpur); married (amongst others), Rani Shekhawatji, daughter of Rao Raimal Shekhawat, Rao of Amarsar, and had issue, 14 sons.
Rao Udaikaran Singh, he was granted the estate of Dronapur, which later came into the possession of the descendants of his brother, Thakur Sansar Chandra of Padihara; married and had issue.
Rao Sansar Chandra, he was granted the estate of Padihara; married (amongst others) Sati Rani Sujan Devi Gaur and Sati Rani Suhab Devi Tank, and had issue. He died 1529 AD.(#1)

Rao Udaikaran Singh, he was granted the estate of Dronapur, from which he was expelled in 1526 by Rao Jetsiji of Bikaner; married and had issue. His son Kalyandas opposed Lunkaran of Bikaner and lost all his estates. His descendants belong to Udaikarnot subclan and their Thikana was Bhidasi in Jodhpur. In Bikaner they settled at villages Jakhasar, Dhakalo, Agnau, Oon.
