Rao BIDA, Rao of Chapar-Dronpur (Bidayat), born 1442 (Magh Shukla Navami BS 1499), he accompanied his brother, Rao Bika, and helped him establish his own kingdom of Bikaner; and himself established Bidayat state (that Rao Jodha had briefly granted to his son Joga by defeating Rana Bairisal Mohil Chauhan of Chapar-Draunpur); married (amongst others), Rani Shekhawatji, daughter of Rao Raimal Shekhawat, Rao of Amarsar, and had issue, 14 sons.
Rao Udaikaran Singh, he was granted the estate of Dronapur, which later came into the possession of the descendants of his brother, Thakur Sansar Chandra of Padihara; married and had issue.
Rao Sansar Chandra, he was granted the estate of Padihara; married (amongst others) Sati Rani Sujan Devi Gaur and Sati Rani Suhab Devi Tank, and had issue. He died 1529 AD.

Thakur BHARMAL SINGH, Thakur of Sandwa 1668/-, he succeeded to the throne of Sandwa in 1668, extremely faithful to the crown of Bikaner, he was sent with Kothari Ratansi to settle peace with Ajit Singh of Jodhpur but was placed in detention with the Bidawats of Bidasar when Bikaner was invaded by Ajit Singh in 1707, but when Ajit Singh returned unsuccessfully he was set free; he married and had issue.

Thakur LAKHDHEER SINGH, Thakur of Sandwa 1707/-, he succeeded his father in 1707, he was childless and had adoptive issue from Thikana Kakku.

Thakur DAN SINGH, Thakur of Sandwa, he founded the fort of Sandwa, he was adopted from thikana Kakku, during his lifetime he participated in all the military expeditions and the defences which Bikaner was required to put up. He faced incursion of Abhey Singh of Jodhpur at Kharboozi (Harbuji) in 1733. He married and had issue.

Thakur DHEERAT SINGH or Dheeraj Singh, Thakur of Sandwa -/1763, he joined the Bikaner forces with the Sandwa contingent and helped Bakhat Singh in capturing the Jodhpur fort, later Vijay Singh (Jodhpur) was also helped in saving his throne by the Bikaner forces consisting of Sandwa contingent under him, he also helped to subdue Mansur Ali, the refractory Diwan of Mughal Emperor Ahmed Shah. He married and had issue. He was killed in 1763 while defending Nohar-ka-kot from the Daudpotas.

Rani Sirah Kanwar Bidawatji, married Raja Lakshman Singh of Khandela-Junior.
Thakur JAIT SINGH, Thakur of Sandwa 1799/-, he succeeded to the gadi in 1795 or 1799. He devoted much attention to works of public utility in his dominions, and constructed Chautina ka Kua at Sandwa in 1799 which is famous as Jaitsagar. He accompanied Maharaja Surat Singh in his march in support of Dhonkal Singh against Maharaja Man Singh of Jodhpur, he died sp. and had adoptive issue from Thikana Kakku. He died in 1826.

Thakur RANJEET SINGH, Thakur of Sandwa 1826/1866, born to Thakur Jawani Singh of Kakku, he succeeded his childless uncle as his heir and successor; rendered commendable service during 1857 revolt in support of British and Bikaner forces and received an elephant and siropav from Maharaja Sardar Singh of Bikaner; however apparently he later fell into disfavour and was probably dethroned by Bikaner around 1866; married and had issue.
Thakur HARI SINGH or HEER SINGH, Thakur of Sandwa 1866/1891, in 1866 he was installed on the gadi of Sandwa by Maharaja Sardar Singh in place of Thakur Ranjeet Singh and was granted an elephant and siropav. He was later implicated along with Rao Raja Ram Singh of Mahajan in the revolt of 1883 against the Bikaner Chief and his fort was demolished, but he was subsequently allowed to rebuild it; he was a member of the Regency Council of Bikaner (1887-1891); married and had issue, three sons (died young), as well as an adoptive issue. He died 1891.

(A) Thakur Moti Singh (qv)
Thakur MOTI SINGH, Thakur of Sandwa 1892/1923, born to Thakur Duleh Singh, an uncle of Heer Singh, and succeeded to the gadi in 1892; he had an estate consisting of ten villages which yielded an annual income of Rs12,500. He had no issue; his nearest relations were the grantees of Parihara and Kakku, however, on order of Maharaja Ganga Singh, adoption of a boy was done from a distant family (obtaining consent of the adoptive Thakur and his wives in writing) so as to deliberately exclude the claimants, as the ruler of Parihara Hanumant Singh and his son were accused of criminal conduct while the latter were opium eaters. He died 1923 AD.

Brig. Gen. Sardar Bahadur Raja JEOVRAJ SINGH or JEEVRAJ SINGH, C.B.E., O.B.E., A.D.C., Brigadier General, Thakur of Sandwa 1923/-, adopted from village Seruna, born as second son of Bairisal Singh, he had an estate consisting of 10 villages, which yielded an annual income of about Rs17,000 with an annual revenue of Rs4,326 payable to the State, he additionally received personally Tazim and patta of Lakhansar with 5 villages; he worked as Assistant Commandant, Sadul Light Infantry, Senior Assistant Commandant and Commandant of the Ganga Risala, and Recruiting Officer, Bikaner State and Master of Ceremonies, Member of Executive Council, Honorary Aide-de-Camp to His Highness the Maharaja. He was appointed to the Order of the British Empire, first class, with the title of Sardar Bahadur on the 28th July 1917, and was made a Commander of the British Empire on the 1st January 1920, he retired from State service on 23rd May 1941, he married and had issue, three sons.

Maharaja Sadul Singh Bikaner reopened the succession case of Sandwa, motivated by the numerous complaints by the residents of Sandwa against Raja Jeoraj Singh, his son Kunwar Khet Singh, Nahar Singh and Madhu Singh Bidawats for offences committed by them, and granted it to Bhairun Singh of Padihara, the rightful claimant who was earlier excluded by Maharaja Ganga Singh.
Thakur BHAIRU SINGH, fl.1940, Thakur of Parihara and Sandwa, he was adopted from Thikana Padihara, or being the rightful claimant he was granted the jagir of Sandwa by Maharaja Sadul Singh after an order on 7th August 1943, six months after the demise of Maharaja Ganga Singh, to take the Thikana of Sandwa under the supervision of the Nazim Sujangarh pending the decision of the cases against Raja Jeoraj Singh.

Thakur GUMAN SINGH, Thakur of Sandwa, when Sandwa was attacked by dacoit gang of Bhanwar Singh, then Thakur Guman Singh fought with them and was honoured with a gun by Chief Minister of Rajasthan Tikaram Paliwal.

Rani Govind Kanwar, daughter of Bidawat Rathore Thakur Jivraj Singh of Sandwa in Bikaner State, married 1936, Shaktawat Rawat Mahavir Singh Sisodia of Bohera (1971/1978), born 1916, died 1978, and had issue, a son and a daughter.
NOTE:
1. Padihara was capital of Rao Sansar Chandra Bidawat in ancient times. The present estate of Padihara is not a prominent seat of the clan anymore.
2. Head seat of Bidawat clan is Bidasar Thikana.
3. Head seat of Manohardasot subclan of Bidawat clan is Sandwa Thikana.
