PREDECESSORS AND SHORT HISTORY: Tasing or Taseeng was a fiefdom of Badagurjar clan located near Behror in Alwar district of Rajasthan. The family shares a common ancestry with the Chiefs of Anupshahar, Bulandshahar, Rajaur, Devati (Deoti), Dausa (Deosa) and Macheri (Sanchari). The estate of Taseeng is divided into 4 Panas (parts). The principal owners of each of the Panas being - Thakur Ram Nath Singh, Tazimi Sardar and Tikai (born 1858), Thakur Bijay Singh (born 1867), Thakur Surat Singh (born 1861), and Thakur Ganga Singh. They are Bargujar Rajputs, the descendants of Udat Singh, their common ancestor, who first came from Patan and settled here. They maintained 28 horses in service of Alwar State. Raja SHILADITYA, Raja of Vallabhi (near Bhavnagar) in Gujarat, a scion of Maitraka dynasty which ruled Saurashtra (as Vassals/Generals of Gupta Emperors who ruled North-India and probably were of Solar race that ruled Bengal-Gauda, just like the Pala dynasty), probably descendants of Lava, son of Maharaja Ramchandra of Ayodhya, whose kingdom was vanquished in 524 AD and one of his pregnant queen Rani Subhga who was on a pilgrimage to Ambaji, upon learning of her husband's demise took shelter at Nagda in Mewar and committed sati 10 days after giving birth to a son in a cave (gufa) who was reared by a Brahmin and her servants.

By the time of reign of Samrat Harshwardhan at North India with capital at Kannauj (Kanyakubja), Badagujar petty states were spread across Devti, Macheri (Alwar), Dausa (Jaipur), Titarwara, Kolasar, Shankargarh, Bhangarh and Sikri.

Raja ANUP SINGH BADGUJAR, Raja of Anupshahar (1629/1636), he received title of Raja in 1629 from Shah Jahan, he had a mansab of teen-hazari (3000) zat, 1500 sowar. He died in 1636.
Raja JAIRAM BADGUJAR, Raja of Anupshahar (1636/1647), in 1639 he accompanied Shahzada Murad to Kabul, in 1645 he accompanied him in the siege of Balkh (Bactria), he had a mansab of 1500 jat and 1500 sawar, after conquest of Balkh he was deputed with Bahadurkhan to chase Nazar Mohammad. After meritorious service in Uzbek war his mansab was increased to 2000 zat and 1500 sowar. He died 1647 at Balkh.
Raja AMARSINGH BADGUJAR, Raja of Anupshahar, received title of Raja and mansab from Shah Jahan in 1647.
Raja RAGHUNATH SINGH BADGUJAR, last independent Raja of Macheri, he became a Noble of Amber in 1709 when Mughal Emperor Bahadur Shah of Delhi granted mansab of the Badgujar States of Rajaur, Devati and Macheri admeasuring 3000 sq. miles and having an annual income of Rs2,35,000 to Sawai Jai Singh, Maharaja of Amber.
Raja UDAI SINGH or Uddhot Singh, last Chief of Macheri Thikana under Jaipur Kingdom & 1st Thakur of Tasing fl. 1741, founded a state of 36 villages with assistance of the rulers of Bharatpur (and Patan?) having lost Macheri to Kachhawas of Jaipur. After his death, 12 villages of Kotputli pargana were invaded by Naruka clan of Alwar state. He married Thakurani Nathawatji, a sister of Thakur Mohan Singh of Chomu in Jaipur, and had issue.

Thakur DAULAT SINGH, 2nd Thakur of Tasing, 1st Thakur of Tasing (Bada Pana), he succeeded to an estate of 24 villages, but in year 1782 Maharaj Bakhtawar Singh Naruka of Alwar attacked Tasing and upon surrender its 12 villages were lost to Alwar State, and only 12 villages remained in the estate, which were divided equally amongst his brothers into 4 Pana or parts of 3 villages each by Bakhtawar Singh (Alwar) to further weaken Tasing; he married and had issue, the thakurs of Tasing (Pana I).

4. Initially, Rajor (राजोर) Rajorgarh (राजोरगढ़), probably Rajgarh in present day Alwar was the head seat of the clan.
