PREDECESSORS AND SHORT HISTORY: Ancestor of the family was Kunwar Soor Singh, a grandson of Thakur Ladkhan, son of Raja Raisal Darbari of Khandela, and grandson of Rao Surajmal of Amarsar. The village is 40 miles north-west of Jaipur, near Renwal Railway station. The unruly jagirdars hardly paid tribute to Jaipur unless forced and were involved in notorious activities as freebooters and vagabonds as per Col. James Tod. Later it became a leading estate of Jaipur and the Chief was granted Tazim. The rule of succession is equal partition amongst coparceners hence the original grant was reduced to a petty estate shared by large numbers. Estate holders were....(#1)
Thakur LAD SINGH, Thakur of Rewasa 1618/1621, better known as Lad Khan, he was the eldest son of Raja Raisal Shekhawat of Khandela, second son of Rao Suja of Amarsar, and his wife, Rani Kesar Kumari (Rajkumari Amravati), daughter of Raja Lakhdheer Badgujar of Devati (Anupshahar) near Alwar. He separated from his father during his lifetime and captured Danta Ramgarh area whose annual revenue was estimated to be 100,000 by James Tod. He married Thakurani (name unknown) and had issue, eleven sons. He died 1621 at Brindaban.

Thakur Kan Singh, he was a brave commander and a valley near Parbatsar is named after him. He participated in battle of Haripura allied with Keshri Singh of Khandela, but ran away in between along with Sagat Singh Ladkhani. He died in Bharija, where his cenotaph was built. He married twice, and had issue.
