Objectives After studying this unit, students will be able to
read, interpret, analyze, and evaluate ideas and themes from a novel
understand the ways in which the novel depicts the Jazz Age.

Students will read aloud, report, and participate in large and small group discussions to improve their public speaking and personal interaction skills.
