Mrs. Spriggs's Welcome Letter

Greetings!

I am excited to work with each of you! I'm originally from Indiana, and I received my undergraduate degree in English Education from the University of Evansville in 2002.

My husband and I moved to North Carolina in 2002 where I started teaching at St. Paul's High School in Robeson County. We then moved to Graham, and I taught at Southern Alamance High School for two years. Our next move brought us to the Piedmont Triad area of NC where I taught at Trinity High School in Randolph County for five years. While there, I completed my MA in Rhetoric and Composition at UNCG and also received my National Board Certification. In 2010 we moved to Cary, and I started teaching at Green Hope High School. From then until 2018, I taught a mixture of full-time and part-time. 2019 brought us to the south Charlotte/Union County area.

I'm very excited to join the Upper School English Department at Covenant Day School this fall!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Spriggs :)
