All Quiet on the Western Front Literary Analysis

Steps for Success:

Each step MUST be completed before you may turn in the following step! Honor Code Reminder: All work and all steps must be completed by you. Violation of the honor code will result in a zero that cannot be made up.

Step 1. Choose a Topic for your AQWF Literary Analysis Essay and Complete the All Quiet on the Western Front Literary Analysis Pre-writing Handout. Do this BEFORE beginning essay. The pre-writing handout is a classwork grade (due by 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6th). *Lessons Learned: Pre-Writing

Step 2. Use the Sample Literary Analysis Essay Outline . This will take you the longest amount of time; however, if you do it correctly, it will dramatically improve your odds of success on this major assessment! The Outline is a Quiz Grade (due Tuesday, Dec. 8th at 11:59 p.m.).

Step 3. Use the Sample Informative Essay MLA Paper to create your Rough Draft. Copy and paste the information from your outline into it. Delete the outline material (Roman Numerals, Letters, explanations, etc.). Your paper should look like a MLA paper with an introduction, 3 body paragraphs, and a conclusion, and a Works Cited. Make sure you include the parenthetical citations with the line numbers from All Quiet on the Western Front! Check your paper for errors. Check your paper against the rubric. The Rough Draft is a Quiz Grade (due by 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5th). Rough draft "in-class" workdays will be Dec. 14th-15th and Jan. 4th-5th.

Step 4. Correct all errors from rough draft. Complete a final check of your paper using the following link before submitting your paper:
