• SWBAT describe different Windows versions and the editions of each that are most suited for corporate and home users. 

• SWBAT configure the Windows operating system and to perform administrative tasks using the Control Panel in the GUI and commands in the Windows command line (CLI) application and the PowerShell command line utility. 

• SWBAT use file system commands, disk CLI commands, task and system CLI commands, and others.

• SWBAT use two methods for organizing and managing Windows computers on a network, the domain and the workgroup, and how to share local computer resources, such as files, folders, and printers on the network. 

• SWBAT configure a wired network connection in Windows. 

• SWBAT create and share folders on the network and setting access permissions. 

• SWBAT connect a computer to a wireless router and test the wireless connection as well as configure Windows for remote access using the Remote Desktop and Remote Assistance tools.

Do Now - Task Manager:

1. Open Task Manager on your computer

2. Find 1 application running on your computer and search for it on the Internet using the Task Manager tool

3. Write 1-2 sentences describing what it does from the website

4. Copy and paste the URL for the description of the application

5. Find 3 processes running on your computer and search for them on the Internet using the Task Manager

6. Write 1-2 sentences describing what it does from the website

7. Copy and paste the URL for the description of the processes

8. Take a screenshot of all the processes running at startup in Task Manager on your computer

9. List processes that are disabled at startup in Task Manager

10. Take a screenshot of the users accessing your computer through Task Manager

Put your findings in a google doc and upload it to google classroom
