Essential Question: How can I use operators and variables to make calculations?
Mastery Objectives:
SWBAT create a conditional statement.
SWBAT create variables.
SWBAT create formulas using operators.
Do Now: Write a JavaScript program to create a variable to store your first name and another variable to create to store your last name. Print your name with a space between the first name and last name to the console. Create a template literal to write to the console a sentence using your first name.
Do Now2: Create two variables: age and dogYears. Set age equal to your age. Multiply the age variable by 7 to calculate dog years. Write dogYears to the console.
Directions: Using the code from Tip Calculator, create a simple calculator using the operators +, -, *, /, mod %, and Math.sqrt. Print to the console. Look at the functions in the Math Library below. Select 3 functions and add them to your calculator.
