The National Flag of the Monarchical Republic of Zelesynthe

Adopted: 19 August 2024

Meaning of Flag Explained: The Zelesynthian national flag consists of two purple triangles on the top and buttom and two black triangles on the left and right. The rectangles are separated with a white saltire, with a thinner, light blue one, inside. The purple triangles are surrounded with black stripes and the black triangles are surrounded with purples stripes. These stripes cross into the white saltire. 

Purple stands for community and the monarchy, white stands for peace, blue symbolizes justice and democracy and black stands for challenges in past and future, that will be overcome. 

The flag was designed by the first Zelesynthian crown heir.

The National Coat of Arms of the Monarchical Republic of Zelesynthe

Meaning of CoA Explained: The Zelesynthian Coat of Arms depicts a rat (right) and a dog (left), supporting a shield with three stripes in blue, white and black (from top to bottom) and a purple point in the middles. The national motto "Kommunikation statt Aggression" (Communication instead of aggression) is displayed on a scroll below.

The shield is inspired by the flag of the provisional zelesynthian government, the dog stands for Moritz, the first president of Zelesynthe and the rat was chosen in a referendum in June 2025.

Meaning of Flag Explained: The flag shows a white paper boat before a orange sunset. A blue stripe symbolizes the sky and a black stripe symbolizes the sea. A purple star with four points sits in the left upper corner.

The Flag of the Provisonal Government of Zelesynthe

Meaning of Flag Explained: The flag of the provisional Government of Zelesynthe was created in a few minutes, just before the Monarchical Republic of Zelesynthe declared its independece. The original meaning of the flag is now forgotten, but it became a symbol for the dysfunctional Zelesynthian government in the first years of the Republic's existence.
