Meaning of CoA Explained: The Coat of arms of Sancratosia (Scermo eraldial nasional de Sancratosia) has many elements which convey many meanings.
The checkered pattern on the escutcheon represents the constancy and the order of the Nation.
The heraldic Crown of Sancratosia represents the power given by the people of Sancratosia to the Sovereign Family.
The Supporters, two Canada geese, show the national animal of Sancratosia. They represent the defense of the sovereignty and the adaptability of the Nation, two traits that are characteristics of Canada geese.
The motto Monarcia bonvolente which is Benevolent monarchy represents the ideal for the Nation and for its governance by the Sovereign Family.
The Order of Sancratosia is the highest state award of the Principality. Its motto is Fa bon, which means Do good.
Lastly, the mantle is not only a symbol of royalty but it also brings together the different elements of the Coat of arms, representing the entire Nation.

The Personal Coat of Arms of Princess Cloe of Sancratosia

Meaning of CoA Explained: As the head of the House of Sancratosia, Princess Cloe is allowed to bear the coat of arms of the Principality as her own. However, she was attributed some personal arms which are more representative of her own person. It is accompanied by a personal badge.


The achievement represents many aspects of Princess Cloe's life. The main part of the shield, divided black and white, represents the duality of life and a reminder that nothing is simply black or white. The star in its middle symbolizes the many directions one can take in life as well as representing the cardinal directions from Cloe's life of travels. The two ink nibs represent her work in communications as well as her drawing hobby. The blue, red and white alternating patterns of the two other partitions of the shield represent the influences that Monaco and France have had on her reign in Sancratosia, as well as law and order. The border is also a nod to Sancratosia's design.


The supporters are the same as those of Sancratosia. They stand on a pedestal, representing the stability of her reign and they each bear an hexagonal necklace, a shape that represents durability. In the necklaces, the arms of two French historical regions, Brittany and Perche, where the ancestors of Cloe come from. In their beaks, the Canada geese are holding small shields representing the gender identity and sexual orientation of Cloe.


An helm with the Ceremonial Crown of Sancratosia stands above the shield. The crest is composed of an open book, representing knowledge, inside the Greek letters minuscule sigma (σ) and minuscule kappa (κ) represent the two words forming the etymology of "Sancratosia". The tree coming from the book represents the growth one can achieve from knowledge and is a symbol of education, a value dear to Princess Cloe and the fact she taught at university and college level. Above, the carnation flower represents the socialist ideals that inspire Princess Cloe.


The shield is surrounded by the Order of the Sovereign. The scroll at the bottom contains the motto "Sabe, Crea" which means "To know, To create". The motto is flanked by the Greek letters majuscule sigma (Σ) and a minuscule mu (μ) representing respectively the sum of who we are and micronationalism. A small wavy rainbow of colours can be found on the scroll in the center representing the Lingua Franca Nova, the official language of Sancratosia.

Meaning of Flag Explained: The State Flag of Sancratosia, officially the Princely Flag, (Bandera prinsal de Sancratosia) is composed of the National Coat of arms on a white background. It is used when an official of Sancratosia is present, such as the Minister of State.

The Personal Standard of Princess Cloe

Meaning of Flag Explained: The Personal Standard of Princess Cloe (Bandera personal de Cloe) takes a similar format as the State Flag with the monogram of Her Sovereign Highness Princess Cloe of Sancratosia on a white background.

Meaning of Flag Explained: The Flag of the Municipality of Sancratosia (Bandera de la Munisipa de Sancratosia) is a depiction of the shield of the Municipality. 

The Coat of Arms of the Municipality of Sancratosia

Meaning of CoA Explained: The coat of arms of the Municipality of Sancratosia is composed of four quarters and one escutcheon, representing the five districts. The top-left quarter has a golden Martlet on a red field, representing the District of La Curiosia. The top-right quarter has a silver "M" on a green hill on a white field, representing the District of Altia Maria. The bottom-left quarter has wavy lines of blue on a white field, representing the District of Costa Sabosa. The bottom-right quarter has a white maple leaf on a red field, representing the District of Jenoveva. The escutcheon has a white band on a red field with a black five-pointed star in the centre, representing the District of Sancratosia-Site. The motto of the Municipality can be found under the shield : "Saluta" (LFN: Greetings) which is the most popular form of salutations in Sancratosia. A mural crown stands above the shield.

Meaning of Flag Explained: The Flag of the Public Force of Sancratosia (Bandera de la Forte publica) has a bugle, the official symbol of the Public Force. Symbol of alert and discipline, the bugle is also a non-violent item representing the military, which is one of the core values of Sancratosia's Public Force.

Meaning of Flag Explained: The Flag of the Public Security of Sancratosia (Bandera de la Securia publica) has a walkie-talkie, the official symbol of the Public Security. Modern counterpart of the bugle, it is also a symbol of alert and coordination and a non-violent item.

Meaning of CoA Explained: The Coat of arms of the Municipality of Sancratosia (Scermo eraldial de la Munisipa de Sancratosia) is composed of a shield with three bands of red, white and red, with a five-pointed black star centrally located in the white stripe surrounded by 2 red stripes. Its position in the center is reminiscent of the fact that it is the only municipality in Sancratosia and the five points represent its five districts. On the top of the shield lies the Honorific Crown of Sancratosia and under the shield is a scroll with "Sancratosia" inscribed in it.
