Meaning of Flag Explained: The White and Blue bicolour that makes up the Flag's Base was taken from the "Kingdom of Westphalia" which was a French Satelite State that existed in Northern Germany from 1807-1813. The sun in it's middle stands for Rebirth, New Beginnings and New Ideas.

Meaning of Emblem Explained: The White and Blue were taken from the flag of the historic "Kingdom of Westphalia" and the sun stands for Rebirth, New Beginnings and New Ideas.

The date "1648" is the date of the signing of the Westphalian Peace in Münster/ Westphalen.

The Date "2013" is the date of the Founding of the Republic of New Westphalia.

Furthermore, it contains a white Dove which symbolizes peace (And is also the National Animal of New Westphalia), New Westphalia's Motto "Sic Parvis Magna" (From Little to Great Things) and a ribbon in the colours of New Westphalia's Flag.
