Meaning of Flag Explained: The White and Blue bicolour that makes up the Flag's Base was taken from the "Kingdom of Westphalia" which was a French Satelite State that existed in Northern Germany from 1807-1813. The sun in it's middle stands for Rebirth, New Beginnings and New Ideas.

The date "1648" is the date of the signing of the Westphalian Peace in Münster/ Westphalen.
The Date "2013" is the date of the Founding of the Republic of New Westphalia.
Furthermore, it contains a white Dove which symbolizes peace (And is also the National Animal of New Westphalia), New Westphalia's Motto "Sic Parvis Magna" (From Little to Great Things) and a ribbon in the colours of New Westphalia's Flag.
