While the climb information system on the Mazama website and mountainproject.com have largely replaced the old -school Mazama prospectus documents, the latter still have many advantages:
a concise printable summary of everything a climber needs to know about the climb
a complete, portable team contact summary
words of wisdom from past Mazama climbs on the route, and fun history
a full, easy-to-edit gear list
So you may find this archive of prospectus templates useful. Note that the gear lists are generic, not an actual list for the route, and the details of a particular trip are blanked out. They are in .doc or .rtf format.

Leaders: you are no longer required to submit your prospectus document to the office, but you must make sure the climb info on the Mazamas website is up to date before you depart (except the gear list.)
If you do use these templates, to ensure accuracy, please check the latest on this site for updates, instead of just reusing one you may have created in the past. The text in red is meant to be replaced with your specific climb team information, and the gear list customized.
If you find an error, or you have prospectuses you have written or updated that you wish to share, please email them to climbinfo@mazamas.org and they will be posted here. Your contributions help all leaders, and will be noted in the prospectus. Thank you!
