Post-climb leader responsibilities include:
Ensure all team members are accounted for.
Leave a clean camp.
Remember to sign out at the ranger station, climber register or other location where you completed the climb registration form.
All accidents must be reported to the Mazamas office, Climbing Committee, and the Board within 24 hours of completing the climb.
Within two days of returning home, the climb leader shall complete the online climb report.
Complete an incident report form after any accident, near miss, or behavioral issue.
Return cleaned ropes and other equipment within the week following the climb so they are available to other climb leaders.
Damaged equipment should be hung on the rack above the work table located at the top of the stairs in the Rope Room with a note detailing what happened.
