Makes 2 Dozen Cookies
Ingredients:
3/4 Cup Margarine, Softened
2/3 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Dark Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
2 Tsp Vanilla
2 Cups Flour
1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
1/2 Tsp Salt
1 Cup Chocolate Chips
Directions:
Preheat oven 375F. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper, a silicone mat, or cooking spray. Set aside.
Beat the margarine, sugar, and brown sugar until the mixture is soft and fluffy. Stir in the eggs and vanilla until well combined. Mix in the flour, baking soda, and salt until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips. Scoop the cookie dough out by the tablespoon onto the prepared baking sheets. Bake the cookies for 7-10 minutes*. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before letting them cool completely on a wire rack.
Store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature. These cookies also freeze really well!
Enjoy!
*If you like your cookies soft, take them out of the oven while they still look a little under-baked. The cookies will continue to bake while they are cooling on the pan so you will end up with perfectly soft cookies! If you like your cookies a bit more crisp, leave them in for a bit longer.
