About

• Lore items are cosmetic items that hold significant relevance to Middle-Earth lore.

• Each item includes a brief description of its importance in the world, marked with a [Official Lore Item] tag to signify its authenticity.

• While lore items do not have enchantments, modifiers, or special abilities, they can be used and modified just like any other item. 

  • They come with a cosmetic enchantment glow, which can be restored using the /fixglow command if it’s lost.

• After distribution, there are no specific rules governing how players may use, modify, or trade these items, and no reimbursements will be provided for any losses or damage (unless the loss is due to a bug).

• The Original Finder of a lore item may request a staff member to engrave “Found by: (Name)” into the item’s lore for personalization.

Distribution

• Lore items are occasionally released and announced in the #notice-board channel on our Discord server. These items are hidden at ground level somewhere in Middle-Earth, often in difficult-to-reach locations due to the vastness of the map.

• Once a chest is placed, a screenshot of the chest and its surroundings is posted in the #notice-board channel. The chests are periodically checked to confirm whether the item has been claimed, and this document is updated accordingly.

• The Location of Hiding is based on the general lore area of Middle-Earth, and does not specifically refer to an LOTR Mod biome.
