• Custom bosses are available to spawn using various methods detailed below.

Nightwraith - Bane of Spring

Summoning

• Summoned utilizing a Dark Essence of the Nightwraith, found in eggs (during our easter event) and purchased from the LSC shop.

• Right-click the ground (away from any player-owned land/structures) with the Essence to begin summoning the boss

• The summoning process lasts 30 seconds - the ground will transform and all players will be notified of the location and given an opportunity to "fast travel" to the summoning location.

• Once the boss summoning phase is 15 seconds in, the fast travel option will no longer be available and the boss will spawn shortly after.

Combat Abilities

• Destructive leap: the Nightwraith will attempt to leap towards the closest player, destroying all blocks in it's path.

• Blindness: Blindness effect given commonly.

• Energy beams: Boss will target players and entities using "beams" that cause damage

• Energy blasts: If you stand too close the boss will send out an energy blast that knocks you far back and breaks blocks.

• Minion summoning: Summons 2-3 minions (wither skeletons) when his health is low.

Cosmetic Abilities

• Will replace stone, dirt, wood and other common nature blocks with a foul, corrupt version as he moves about.

• Ruby necklace particle effect

• Dark ambience sounds, screams and particles

Combat Strategies

• Strength in numbers: The most effective strategy is to overwhelm the Nightwraith by sheer numbers. This is the most ideal method but most inconvenient if you do not have a means of getting such a force together.

• Ranged attacks: The boss may struggle to be aware of his further surroundings allowing a viable strategy for ranged attacks. 

These strategies are by no means the only methods of slaying the wraith. Other players have managed to come up with other unique methods of slaying the boss!

Other Mechanics

• Will de-spawn after 10 minutes of in-activity

Rewards and Loot

• All players who participate in the fight will partake in the rewards! At minimum you have to deal some damage to the boss to be counted in the reward pool.

• Shadow Armor set: Dealing high damage will increase your chances of finding a piece of the shadow armor set. When the full set is worn it grants the wearer night vision and leaves a trail of corruption (blocks) that when other entities step on gives slowness.

• Common loot: Loot that is almost guaranteed: Coins, mithril ingots, LSC, boss LSX
