Banner Removal

Details

• Banner protection is the LOTR Mod's way of letting players protect their land.

• On this server we are very prudent with maintaining banner protection and cases of banner removal are rare.

• We offer a way to request players' banner protection to be removed in the case that it's either (1) obstructing you, or (2) unused:

1. Obstruction:

• For banner protection to be obstruction, it has to be preventing the expansion of your structure or its banner protection, which is more prominent than the structure protected by the banner protection.

• To decide a structure's relative prominence, we will look at the following factors with equal weight:

1. Size.

2. Purpose.

3. Time of establishment.

4. Lore significance.

2. Unused:

• You can also request to remove banners which protect nothing other than terrain.

• Banners in this category can only be removed if the following criteria are both met:

1. The banner owner was last seen over 4 weeks ago.

2. The banner does not protect any player owned structures.

• In the case of a banner being removed under (1) obstruction, the banner owner will be notified and given 24 hours to remove it. If they haven't removed it by then, staff will remove it.

• In the case of a removal under (2) unused, the banner will be removed immediately.

• To request banner(s) to be removed, simply request it in the #support channel of our Discord server or message a staff member. You must provide the coordinates of each individual banner you want removed.
