A brief article in the Garland Globe January 1, 1910, issue indicates that Wm. Kowallis [Karl's brother, Wilhelm] was working for the paper at this time. Hermann Kowallis was listed as a printer in the 1904 Logan Directory, employed by "The Nation."
Ayers American Newspaper Annual 1908 lists Karl A. Kowallis as the editor and publisher of the Cache County Advertiser
