Some Shorties.

The sugar factory people are jubilant over the fact that more acreage is being signed up this year than ever before by local farmers.

Reports from those who have been in the canyons east of here say the mountains are filled with well-packed snow, insuring a good supply of water for irrigation during the coming summer.

Mrs. Lillie Merrill of Richmond and her children were thrown out of a wagon lately on account of the horse getting frightened and uncontrollable.

Mr. Wilhelm of North Logan is becoming famous for raising prize mutton. Lately he sold one weighing 138 lbs.
