What a mudslinging and not in politics
Last Thursday a fire alarm was turned in and what an excitement it was as the news spread that the main building on the agricultural College was on fire. The fire-engine, followed by citizens in all kinds of vehicles, went to the college. When they reached the college they were astonished to find the City commissioners there, who informed them that a false alarm had been sent in, in order to test the engine when the roads are in the worst condition possible. The snow was Hub deep but the big engine accomplished its feat to the greatest satisfaction to the firemen as well as the council commissioners. Logan is certainly proud of its machine and the city never invested to better advantage
