A proud one and he showed it
Under the heading of “Tender feet” last week there appeared the name of Merrill Bell. The young man called our attention to the fact that his name is not Merrill but Mervil Bell. He also told us that he is very proud of the fact that he has passed the Tenderfoot examination. And we assure our readers that his whole action and general behavior showed that he felt what he said. Such is Scout craft, the making of the boys and the future citizen. Good boys cannot be kept down when they are given a chance and it seems that the Scout movement is the chance of their lives.
