Jackrabbit
The most interesting thing to note about the jackrabbit is that they aren’t actually rabbits.
They are hares with much larger ears and hind legs.
The female jackrabbit can give birth to multiple litters of one to six offspring each year.
Its young are known to rapidly mature with little care from their mother.
These creatures are capable of reaching running speeds of forty miles per hour and can leap more than ten feet.
They take these leaps in a zigzag fashion to dodge predators.
The message of the jackrabbit is to be prepared to change course at a moment's notice.
Having plans for your life is good; however, unexpected occurrences may dictate that you redirect to a better path.
Temporary setbacks may be necessary to avoid negative outcomes.
Trust that you will eventually leap ahead. (S. Finelli)
