①市電 City Tram
🚃市電は、大学近くや鹿児島市内を移動する時に使用します。鹿児島中央駅、天文館などへ行くことができま す。大学から一番近い駅は唐湊、会館から一番近い駅は騎射場です。
運賃の支払い方法
支払い方法は3種類あります。
①現金
市電の料金はどこからどこまで行っても170円です。降りる時に運賃箱にお金を入れます。
✅お釣りは出ないので事前に車両の前か後ろにある両替機で両替が必要です。車両が止まっている間に両替を終わらせましょう。
②クレジットカード
使えるクレジットカードブランド：Visa, JCB, American Express, Diners Club International, Discover
(※一部対応していないカードもあります。PASMOやSuicaは使えません。）

③ラピカ
鹿児島県のバスや市電でのみ使用できるICカードです。(JRでは使用できません。)

🚃City trams are used to get around the university and Kagoshima City. You can go to Kagoshima Chuo Station and Tenmonkan, etc. The closest station to the university is 'Toso' and the closest station to Kaikan is 'Kishaba'.
How to pay fares
There are three ways to pay fares.
①Cash
The tram fare is 170 yen no matter where or how far you go. Put the money in the fare box when you get off.
💡No change will be given. You need to exchange money at the exchange machine at the front or back of the tram in advance. Finish exchanging money while the tram stops.
②Credit card
Accepted credit card brands: Visa, JCB, American Express, Diners Club International, Discover
(※Some cards are not accepted. PASMO and SUICA are not available.)

Rapica is a Kagoshima common-use IC Card. It can be used for buses and trams in Kagoshima. (It cannot be used for JR.)

乗車するときに整理券を取り、その番号に応じた運賃と整理券を降りる時に運賃箱に入れます。
※黄色のバスは整理券は必要ありません。どこからどこまで行っても230円です。

距離が長くなると運賃は上がります。

※You don't have to take a numbered ticket when getting on the yellow bus (Kagoshima City's Bus). The fare is 230 yen no matter where you go.

🚆JRは鹿児島市外などの中・遠距離を移動する時に使用します。
鹿児島大学に最寄りの駅は郡元駅です。
💡鹿児島中央駅のみどりの窓口では、どのような乗車券を購入するべきか尋ねることができます。

🚆JR is used when travelling medium to long distances, such as outside Kagoshima city.
The closest station to the university is Korimoto Station.
💡In the ticket office at Kagoshima Chuo Station, Midori no Madoguchi, you can ask what kind of tickets you should get.
