This page will introduce the items necessary for completing a SIM card contract, and will also introduce some service providers as examples. （Kagoshima University does not officially recommend these companies.) Click on the blue underlined letters to go to the service provider's website.

【Point 1】

クレジットカードや銀行口座がなくても契約可能。

パスポートと、住所の記載された在留カードまたは自国の現住所がわかる書類(運転免許証など)があれば契約できる

【Point 2】

日本入国前に申し込むことができる

国際交流会館でSIMカード即売会がある

【Point 1】

Even if you do not have a credit card or bank account, you can sign a contract with your passport and a residence card with your Japanese address or official proof of your home country's address.

e.g. Driver's license, etc.

【Point 2】

It is possible to apply for this provider before coming to Japan.

【Point 3】

There will be a joint information session about this provider for foreign students once they have arrived in Japan.

②申し込み方法 How to apply

申し込み方法は２つあります。

入国前に申し込む

① ウェブサイトから申し込む

②即売会でSIMカードを受け取る

【即売会の持ち物】

パスポート、母国の住所が書いてある証明書(運転免許証など)

即売会で申し込む

①即売会で申し込み手続きをする

②当日SIMカードを受け取る

【即売会の持ち物】

パスポート、国際交流会館の住所が記載されている在留カード

＊在留カードに住所の記載なし→母国の住所が書いてある証明書(運転免許証など)

There are two ways to apply.

Apply before coming to Japan

①Fill out the application on the website.

②Receive the SIM card in Japan at the information session.

【Things to bring at the information session】

Passport, ID with the address of your home country, e.g. Driver's licence, etc.

Apply after coming to Japan

①Apply at the information session.

②Receive your SIM card immediately after applying.

Passport, a residence card with your Japanese address

If you do not have a residence card with your Japanese address, please bring your ID with the address of your home country, e.g. Driver's licence, etc.
