Room 333 Set-up by NC (v.2)

1. Once the room is open, bring the screen down and turn the computer on

a. SCREEN: On the back wall by the computer, there is a set of three light switch outlets. The one on the right has 1 switch on it. Flip that one Down.

b. COMPUTER: The computer should already be on. To wake it, Tap the Space bar or shake the mouse

2. When the Computer is on, put in the username and passcode

a. USERNAME: UWSPCEGUEST

b. PASSWORD: the password constantly changes, check in with someone in the office for an updated version

3. Turn the projector on

a. Beside the Computer is a small black box with a series of buttons. Push the OFF button to turn the box on.

b. The box should glow. Push the OFF button again, then the ON button. A Green light should glow the mounted projector above the seats.

c. Once the projector has the Green light displayed, the desktop screen should be projected.

i. If it doesn’t, pull the maroon HDMI cord out from the backside of the CPU and plug it back in (located on the front side of the desk)

4. Finish setting the Presentation up by using the black box:

a. PC: This is the default. It will project the desktop monitor screen.

b. Blu-Ray: When pressed, it will project any Blu-Ray disc.

i. The Blu-Ray player is in the “Tower” behind the computer. You will need to retrieve a key from the main office (CAC 225)

ii. Use the CPU to play DVD’s or CD’s

c. HDMI: For presenters who choose to use their personal computer.

i. The HDMI cord is located on the table, labeled HDMI

d. Doc Cam or ELMO: To project anything not digitalized, so similar to an actual projector

i. Press the power button on doc cam itself (Should have a blue/violet glow)

ii. The buttons on there do as following from left to right:

1. Flips screen

2. Brightens and Dims light

3. Turns light on

iii. Black knob on the side adjusts the zoom

e. Mute: This will mute anything on the screen and any audio

5. Get the microphones ready

a. To turn the hands-free microphone on and connect with the system, press the button located on the top of the pack.

b. A light should turn green

i. If the light is RED, please change the batteries

c. To adjust volume, go back to the black box and adjust the volume dial.

· Tear Down

o Turn off the microphone by holding the button on top of the pack until the light turns off

o Hit OFF on the black box for the projector, the light on the projector mount should be orange

o Sign out of the computer

o Hit the switch all the way up to bring the Screen up

o Bring any materials back to the office
