Jude 1:22 - QT by Samuel

Jude 1:22

"Be merciful to those who doubt;”

I think this is talking about us Christians teaching new christens or even non-Christians. We need to teach these people very calmly and we also need to have a lot of patience because they may not fully understand what you are trying to say. That’s why its good to have at least 1 news-christian Q.T. always ready for these new Christians or just confused Christians. You might even wanna have 2 of the most important Q.T.s about the resurrection or just an overall quiet time that covers a lot of things maybe about faith or salvation. I myself will definitely try to memorize one of my new Christian Q.T.s.

Jude 1:14-15 - QT by Samuel

Jude 1:14-15

"Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about them: ”See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of His holy ones to Judge everyone, and to convict all of them of all the ungodly acts they have committed in their ungodliness, and of all the defiant words ungodly sinners have spoken against Him. ”

This verse obviously states that Jesus will come back again. But the Lord is coming to Judge all of us and see if we are going to heaven or hell. It says that He is going to convict us of all the sins we have committed and all of us know that we’ve probably committed lots of sins so we would probably think that all of us are going to hell because none of us even deserve heaven. But that’s not true, whenever you accepted Christ in your heart and know that he died on the cross for our sins, that’s when you are already in the book of life and already chosen to be in heaven. No matter how many sins you’ve committed, if you’ve accepted Christ then you are already in heaven.

Jude 1:4 - QT by Samuel

Jude 1:4

"For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only sovereign and Lord.”

I think this is talking about these fake Christians. These “Christians” who say they love the Lord and go to church every Wednesday and Sunday, but really it is all a lie. To be a real Christian you must love the lord you God and believe that He died on the cross for our sins. Like I said in one my previous Q.T.s “praying, reading the bible whatever gets you closer to God means you’re in the right path to God” Take that staircase to heaven with truth and love one step at a time.

3 John 1:5 - QT by Samuel

3 John 1:5

"Dear friend, you are faithful in what you are doing for the brothers and sisters, even though they are strangers to you.”

I guess this ties into what we said earlier about being safe when inviting people over for fellowship. But this verse is about Gaius preaching to people like how the disciples did, and he probably took them into his home. He was not afraid of these strangers in his house because of God. Now this verse is telling us that we don’t have to be afraid because the Lord God is always with you ready to protect you, but we should always be cautious. Like Oppa said yesterday if God is telling you to listen you to do it or not to do it then always listen to Him in trust with your walk with God.

2 John 1:6 - QT by Samuel

2 John 1:6

"And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you heard in the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.

We need to remember that in our walk with God, we should walk with love towards Him. And in our shall steps of faith that we should always keep this in mind, but the verse also says to walk in obedience, probably meaning when you’re in your walk with you always follow Him staying obedient to His word and His teachings and stay only on His path the only right path. So basically let us have an obedient mind and a heart full of love for the Father, the son and the Holy Spirit.

1 John 5-18 - QT by Samuel

1 John 5-18

"We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the one who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them.”

We need to remember that we are children of God so that if the evil one tempts us we will be protected, now we are not always going to be having a forcefield around us to keep Satan away, we also need to know that we are very vulnerable to these attacks. So, we need fend for ourselves and resist “Satan’s Candy store”, by getting stronger in faith. By reading the bible, going to church, praying, whatever gets you closer to God means you’re in the right course of action.

Isaiah 49:16 - QT by Samuel

Isaiah 49:16

"See I have engraved you on the palm of my hands; your walls are ever before me. ”

Do you ever write anything on your hand? Maybe a important phone number that you need to call later. Maybe an assignment due date. Maybe the time of you next sports practice or notes to remover what you planned to say. You put things there because you want to be sure to remember them. Or perhaps because you don’t have any paper to write on. When you need the information, you’ll know here to look. It’ll be right there. On your hand. Well, God doesn’t need to write on His hands for any of those reasons. He never forgets things. He’s never behind or in a rush or not sure where to fin a scratch piece of paper. He writes you name on His hands. Simply because you’re His. Simply because He loves you. And you’re special to Him.

Proverbs 27:17 - QT by Samuel

Proverbs 27:17

"As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another."

In 2 Samuel 10, King David’s fighting men found themselves surrounded by two opposing armies. So, David’s general, Joab, divided his forces and put his Brother in charge of half the men while he led the other group. They fought their own battle against on of the hostile armies. And this is what the two brothers agreed on: “if the Arameans are too strong for me, then you are to come to my rescue; but if the Ammonites are too strong for you, then I will come to rescue you” (v. 11). Neither of them was truly alone in the fight, because if one of the brothers began to lose, the other would rush full force to his defense. That’s a pretty good strategy for us to use as well. In fighting our own battles, we should team up with family members and friends who are willing to share in our own combat.

Luke 5:5 - QT by Samuel

Luke 5:5

"Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.”

Peter was tried. And probably upset. All night, no fish, and now nothing to sell. There was nothing to like about this whole situation. But this man – This Jesus – had told him to “put down your nets for a catch” (Luke 5:4). And Peter trusted Jesus word more than his own knowledge of the sea or even his own craving of breakfast or sleep. Peter trusted Jesus enough to dirty up the nets he’d just cleaned. He trusted Him enough to demand his sore arms to raw out from shore to a place where He knew the fish weren’t biting. And in the end, he trusted Jesus enough to follow Him from that point forward, wherever He might have, for the rest of His days. When faith tells you to push through your tiredness, you never know what God might do next. Faith without action is dead.

Luke 19:10 - QT by Samuel - Easter QT

Luke 19:10

"For the son of man came to seek and to save the lost."

Easter is not about eggs and wearing pastel colors. That’s all fine, but that isn’t what Easter is about. It’s about Jesus wanting a relationship with you. Jesus was born to die and rise again. That was the reason for the incarnation. On the cross, Jesus faced the judgement of God. He took the wrath of God upon himself. It’s why He cried out. “My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?” He was bearing all the sin in the world including yours and mine, by dying in our place. That is why He came. Jesus talked about it all the time. He was on a mission to go to the cross of calvary. His life was not taken from Him; He willingly gave it up for us. Nails did not hold Jesus to that cross. Love did love for you and love for me. He died for us.
