I am constantly told in the Bible and in life that the life of a Christian is a difficult one. Why is it so difficult you may ask? Well we must be different than the ordinary person. We must think beyond the world and look to the one and only God. We also live in a world that is heavily influenced and manipulated by Satan and his demons, so of course the people that they will go for first are those that are followers of Jesus. Temptation, guilt, and shame are just a few of the things that we deal with everyday. Sometimes we are called by God to move to a different location. Sometimes or possibly many times, it might be out of your comfort zone. Maybe your bank account is running low on funds and God is calling you overseas and away from family and friends. Most likely it’s a place that we’ve never been before. Sometimes we get tempted and might have second thoughts, but we need to remember this verse. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. So we are never truly alone. God is always there and will always be a guide for us. He opens doors and closes others. He is a waymaker, a perfect waymaker, and because of that all we need to do is follow. Even when we fall, God is there with His gentle hand reached out, and all we need to do is grab it and never let go.
