Our family has been on a journey for a year having family worship. We started this adventure on May 1, 2019 and it's been a great ride. We have been doing Quiet Time (QT) and giving messages. The way that God has revealed His truths and inspired us has been absolutely amazing. Our contributors are: Emily, Noah, Elijah, Samuel, Ellen (wife) and KC (me). We hope you are encouraged and blessed by each teaching.
A little about myself: I have been very blessed that God has given me the opportunity to serve in Sunday School, Youth, College, and Adult ministries for more than 20 years. My position has been an English Ministry Pastor, Youth and College Pastor, and Director for the English Ministry. Ever since God showed me his extravagant LOVE, I have been able to show HIS love to others, and it's been a great journey. A new chapter has begun, and God has given each member of my family a part in this exciting journey.
A little about my wife: the love of my life. I knew at the age of 17 (a year after I was saved) that God had a plan for me even before I was born. My Youth Pastor drew a line and then a dot. He pointed to the dot as our life on earth and the line as eternal life. He then asked all the youth kids how many years we thought we will be single and how many years married. He pointed out that if we do get married, we will most likely be married 2/3 or 3/4 of our lives. That was a huge eye opener that caused me to start praying for my wife. I realized that my wife was alive somewhere on earth and most likely around +/- 5 years from my age. Ellen (Eun-Young) Oh came into my life in 1995, and with many confirmations, God convicted me that this special lady is my wife. I proposed to her about 2 months after we started dating, and we got married about 7 months later on January 6, 1996. She is a very strong Christian and my perfect suitable helper. She is a prayer warrior and a SUPER good cook. She has many talents and is wise beyond her years.
A little about my kids: We have 4 delightful and beautiful kids. They are all very different, but one thing in common is their LOVE for God. They have all told us they have received salvation and want to live their lives for God. My daughter Emily (oldest) is talented in music and art. She has led worship and plays several instruments (guitar, keyboard, etc). She desires to travel the world and is a bundle of joy. Noah is my second oldest and the athlete in the family. He loves sports but mainly basketball. He is a high achiever (Straight A's) and very goal-oriented. He wants to be successful but especially in what God wants for him. Elijah is our next son and he is a gamer. He loves God and found gaming friends that also love God. He's not quite sure what he will do, but if it has something to do with games, I'm sure he will be ecstatic. Then there's Samuel, my youngest. He's the creative one that is always learning and very resourceful. He is the editor and videographer for my daughter's projects. He's only 13, but desires to do something in the engineering field.
